Science is useless if it's not understood! Working in neuroscience and graphic design has showed me that we need STEM-trained designers to help bridge the communication gap between scientists and citizens. Miscommunication is a threat to the integrity of science itself.

I am a science illustrator, graphic designer, and comic artist working out of White River Junction, VT. I earned my MFA in comic art at the Center for Cartoon Studies in 2023; see my thesis work, Your Brain Is Better, on my homepage. I graduated with BAs in Neuroscience and Studio Art from Colorado College in 2020, where I wore many hats, working as a lab assistant, print shop monitor, groundskeeper, wildlife hospital volunteer, art studio assistant, and dry cleaner's customer representative. When I'm not illustrating, catch me playing roller derby – if you can!

I am currently booking freelance work in science illustration, infographics, and graphic design. I also do art commissions! Write me at annabel.driussi@gmail.com, or use the Contact page above to ask for my rates and request projects. I am not represented by a literary or illustration agent.
