Science is useless if it's not understood! Working in neuroscience and graphic design has showed me that we need STEM-trained designers to help bridge the communication gap between scientists and citizens. Miscommunication is a threat to the integrity of science itself.
I am a science illustrator, graphic designer, and comic artist working out of White River Junction, VT. I earned my MFA in comic art at the Center for Cartoon Studies in 2023. I graduated with BAs in Neuroscience and Studio Art from Colorado College in 2020, where I worked as a lab assistant, print shop monitor, groundskeeper, wildlife hospital volunteer, art studio assistant, and dry cleaner's customer representative. When I'm not illustrating, catch me playing roller derby – if you can!
I am currently booking freelance work in science illustration, infographics, and graphic design. I also do art commissions! Use the Contact page above to ask for my rates and request projects. For comics and graphic novels, contact my agent Alex Weiss at Azantian Literary Agency.
