Antemortem (Before I Go) is a self-portrait meditating upon the artist's relationship with youth, death, and sexuality. Using the colors of the bisexual pride flag (and referencing the media trend known as bi-lighting), Driussi represents herself as a youth preoccupied with her self image, unaware of her inevitable death. Like much of her work, Antemortem is a modern vanitas.
