Brainbow
This piece was made as part of a series for The Brain and Creativity, a Colorado College art show. For other works, see Vivisection, Window, and The Connection.
Brainbow consists of seven layers of backlit, digitally printed acetate. Each print was created from tracings of neurons in mouse cortex. The layered effect resembles viewing a slice of tissue through a microscope.
Brainbow is on permanent installation view at Tutt Science, Colorado College.
