Cicada Psychedelia was created for Llamapalooza, a music and arts festival held annually at Colorado College. Like many music festivals, Llamapalooza is known for its relatively welcome environment for drug use; artists were unofficially encouraged to create art worthy of a tripping experience.

I created laser cut, digitally printed flowers and cicadas and mounted them on a 3-D printed biomorphic vessel. The project spanned over approximately three months, and spawned multiple side projects along the way (see Psychedelia I, Flower Girl). It required integration of laser cutting, digital printing, and 3-D printing and design.
